On this page: See also:The Jusos - Jungsozialisten in der SPD, Young Socialists in the SPD - are the youth organization of the SPD. As such they have their own symbols. Until quite recently their logo was a stylized rose in a hand, as used for instance by the Spanish PSOE. More recently this was changed a bit, the new logo being shown at the Jusos website. However, ssome branches seem to continue using the old logo (...) So there is probably also a variety of flags around. Unfortunately I have no definitive answer from the Jusos themselves.

The Jusos —youth organization of the SPD— usually show many flags during the 1st May demonstrations, whereas the mother party SPD does not. The most frequently used flag is like that of the Munich branch.
The Jusos are part of an international organization, basically the youth organization of the Socialist International, called International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY). The Munich Jusos sometimes use a IUSY flag, red with the hand grasping a rose outlined in white, over it "IUSY", under it the long name.

The flag of - presumably - the Jusos as a whole is red with a white circle, slightly offset to the hoist, containing the usual Socialist symbol - hand grasping a rose - and the inscription Jungsozialisten in der
SPD. I have no definitive information from the Jusos, but at least assume that this has been the official flag of the Jusos. As they recently changed their logo a bit, I assume that new flags would feature this logo.
I have not seen any of these new flags yet, though.

Until quite recently their logo was a stylized rose in a hand, as used for instance by the Spanish PSOE. More recently this was changed a bit, the new logo being shown at the Jusos website. However, some branches seem to continue using the old logo, as can be seen on the websites of the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg branches. (...) During recent events (demonstration on 1st May 2001 in Munich and CSD in Munich) I could observe the flag used by the Jusos in Munich and made the above image accordingly.
